About the
Young Innovator Program

Imerxn’s Young Innovators Program is a well-structured program designed to empower and support high schoolers passionate about creating positive change in their communities and the world at large. Students solve real-world problems and develop solutions, addressing social challenges, using the resources, global tools, mentorship, and training offered.

Students are encouraged to develop and execute their own social impact initiatives and business ideas during the program. Students are able to build their own venture and transform their ideas into marketable products/services. This hands-on experience allows them to apply their skills and knowledge to real-world challenges, making a meaningful difference in their communities. In the end of the program students will pitch to a panel of investors and startup experts.

The program offers a series of online workshops, where participants are encouraged to develop their own social impact initiatives that can drive positive change in communities.

Experiential activities help them gain real-world experience with an emphasis on social sensibility and responsibility. Global tools and frameworks are used to focus on building a business. The workshops are facilitated by experts and entrepreneurs with vast global experience in mentoring certified by Stanford University, USA and London Business School, UK. Students get to network and get support from our partners that include NGOs and other organizations focusing on social innovation.

Engaging in the Young Innovator’s Program fosters personal growth, self-confidence, and a sense of purpose as students work towards making a positive impact on society. They acquire and enhance the following skills.

This program is for young innovators and includes school students from 8th to 12th grade.

Overall, the duration of this program is around 30 hours. Each session is nearly 2 hours per week. After every session, students will have to work on related home assignments/class projects to take their ideas/ venture forward. These require 2-3 hours per week.

Student teams will have access to experienced mentors who will provide guidance, feedback, and support throughout the program.

The sessions will be in a group setting and have the student teams working on their ideas. Individual students will also have access to expert guidance and mentoring when required.

Our Young Innovator’s Program is an exciting opportunity open to all high schoolers who are passionate about innovation and making a difference in their communities. Whether you're a budding entrepreneur, a creative thinker, or simply someone who wants to contribute positively to society, this program is designed for you.

Yes. Students will get a ‘Certificate of Participation’ from Imerxn. Each student team will present their idea during the final week of the program.

Any student team or individual student wanting to pursue their idea and needing guidance will be provided the required support by connecting them to mentors and networks to take their ideas forward.

Students are given assignments and deliverables each week that require active engagement and participation. They demonstrate their understanding of key concepts through these assignments.

At the end of the program, students are required to deliver a final pitch presentation showcasing their social impact projects. This presentation is an opportunity for students to demonstrate their learning, creativity, and the impact of their projects on their communities. The quality of the final presentation, as well as the depth of understanding and passion displayed by students, serves as a measure of their overall engagement and success in the program.
